The Stephenson High School football team has been in existence for 18 years.  Over the years we have consistently had winning seasons. We have been a playoff team throughout our existence and Region Champs in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2016.

In 2006, the Stephenson Football Team advanced all the way to the State Semi-Finals at the Georgia Dome for the first time.

Our success can not only be measured in wins and loses but the real success comes in the number of players who receive scholarships to continue their education on a collegiate level. Currently over 53 Stephenson football players have college scholarships and at least 25 players currently play Division I football.

In 2006, the Jaguar's first two NFL draftees were, DeMario Minter (drafted in the 5th round by the Cleveland Browns) and Anthony Cannon (drafted in the 7th  round by the Detroit Lions). The 2010 draft produced the following draftees: Jermaine Cunningham (New England Patriots - 2nd Round), Perry Riley (Washington Redskins - 4th Round) and Andre Anderson (Oakland Raiders - Free Agent).

History can be repeated or accomplished everyday. And on February 28, 2010 (Signing Day) the Stephenson football program did just that, with the signing of 29 letters of intent scholarships.

Our goal is to continue to make a difference in the lives of student-athletes in our community.
